Before making the decision on majoring in sociology, I have been in the controversial of either majoring in sociology or interpretation because I been wanting to major in interpretation since I was 13 years old, however, after taking one, just one course in my freshman year was Introduction to Sociology, and it was a fascinating. Now at Gallaudet University, I took Sociology of Deviance and Introduction to Criminal Justice as elective courses for major of sociology and it was cherished and regretless of taking these courses. These courses put me through depth critical thinking of over-lapse problem-solution situations and learning the terminologies that applies to our society, for instance, demedicalized is the term used for the deaf person labeled deaf instead of the medical terms like hearing impaired or disabled. As for minor in FCS, I love being around with children, families and people as several people has informed me that I am a people-person, meaning I enjoy interacting with everyone. In addition, I love helping and giving advices with everyone if they need it.If you have any more questions about me, feel free to!
